Many Stars is an energy development project led by Australian-American Energy Company, LLC in collaboration with the Crow Tribe (Apsáalooke Nation).
The Many Stars Project intends to use integrated biomass and clean-coal technology to produce transportation fuels and specialty chemicals for domestic use.
The ultra-clean fuels which would be produced at Many Stars, including jet fuel and diesel, already have proven their viability with automakers and aircraft operators both military and commercial. The fuels contain no sulfur or aromatics and are non-toxic and biodegradable.
The Many Stars mine and fuel production facility will fulfill the vision of the Crow Tribe to bring significant economic benefit and long term jobs not only to the Crow people, but to the entire state of Montana, while also contributing to U.S. energy independence.
